The open paper or the crumpled paper?
The block by itself or the block with the parachute?
The whole cup or the cut up cup?
We also learned about AIR PRESSURE with this awesome balloon rocket experiment...
First blow up a balloon, but DON'T tie it, you can hold the end it with a clothespin...
Then pass a straw through a string and tie it to two ends...
Next attach the blown up balloon to the straw with tape..
Finally let go of the balloon... (check out the videos to see the result)
We even showed our experiment to PYP 1... They loved it!

...In Maths PYP 3 has been learning about BRAZILIAN CURRENCY and the value of the different notes and coins!
They had a blast roleplaying of shops with different items to buy and sell using paper money!

...They also learned how to form a single value using a combination of notes and coins.
Students were given the challenge to come up with four different combinations to get to a given value!
