Unit of Inquiry: All places on earth have specific features that distinguish them from one another.

Our third Unit of Inquiry is coming to an end and so is our first term!
It has been a wonderful and exciting journey so far, with lots of learning and exploring!

Throughout this Unit we have learned a lot about landscapes and their features, what causes them to be the way
they are, interesting facts and where we can find these landscapes on earth.

You can check out some pictures of PYP 3 Beta:

We have also been exploring warm and cold colours and relating them to the landscapes we investigated.

Thank you so much for your help and support throughout this first term. We look forward to a wonderful and exciting 2nd term!

PYP 3 team  wishes you wonderful holiday and Happy New Year!

See you back on the 26th of January!

St Francis Bazaar

St Francis Bazaar

Every year St Francis College holds a Bazaar in order to collect money for donation.
All Early Years and Primary participate in this event,
and obviously PYP3 would not be left out.

We set up our table with all the beautiful things produced by the PYP3 children:
 Christmas Cards with hand and foot prints that became Santa Claus, Christmas Trees, Reindeers, and Angels;
Hot Pan Coasters decorated with Christmas and flower motifs;
Tea Boxes with a variety of patterns.

Many of our artists paid us a visit with their families, as well as other members of our community.

 We, the PYP3 teachers would like to thank you, children, parents, and St Francis community for your work and support.
It was touching to see how much you got involved into this Bazaar Quest, by helping us make it happen.
